Taking Care!

Philosophy

Taking Care! is a non-profit, licensed Parent/Child Development Centre established to assist and support the participants of Taking Charge! with child care until they can arrange alternate care in the community.

At Taking Care! we believe every child has the right to love, respect, and quality care in a safe environment. We recognize the importance of child development and strive to encourage physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth by providing opportunities through planned programs and creative play.

We believe that single parents need to have safe, nurturing, flexible, and affordable child care while making the transition from social assistance to employment.
